From the world of retail, a new insight. If you want to visualize your story close up, look down. Close your eyes and look down.
If you want to get a distant overview, close your eyes and look up.
The study comes from shoppers who visualize supermarket items below their line of sight as closer to them, where upper shelves have articles that are perceived to be much further away.
Researchers then checked students who with their eyes closed found that when they looked down, images and daydreams seemed close, while if they looked up, the same daydreams and images seemed much further away.
And Happy Fool’s Day.
