Refusing to work

On the train into Portland the other morning I realized I didn’t want to write these blog entries.  And I wondered how much of writer’s block is simply the feeling of I just don’t want to write today. But many writer’s warn that if we don’t write every day, whether we really want to or not, we can find ourselves facing writer’s block.

But this morning I got in touch with my anger and resistance and thoroughly enjoyed sulking.  I luxuriated in the negative energy.

After about ten minutes of that, I started thinking of ideas like this one and I found myself amused by the idea of writing.  So enjoy resisting the writing at least for a short while each day!
