Handling ambiguity — Keat’s negative capability

I am working on a political essay that requires a great deal of research.  I am reading stacks of books with different theses written over an eighty year period.

I have written four pages but I am confused by the different approaches.  So I have no topic, approach or anything that resembles order.

Keat’s wrote that being able to stay in this state was the key to achieving anything in life. He criticized a friend, saying that friend, who had an opinion about everything and wasn’t able to hang out in any gray thinking zones, would never accomplish anything.

So I am hanging out with the confusion, continuing to do research knowing that in the end some order will emerge out of the chaos.  Then I will write something original and I hope, influential.
